Travel Sketches

Before the term “Urban Sketchers” was coined and became a world wide movement, I followed the footsteps of artists, designers and architects who created “Carnet de Voyage,” travel sketchbooks. I have been sketching in watercolor on my travels for many years. I treasure them more than any photo I have taken. Looking through them takes me right back to the place they were created. Here are a sampling of a few of my favorites.
